It's a very strange picture.

The deep blue color evokes the universe, the sky, and the sea, while human faces and animals are arranged like plants, seaweed, and flying objects. There are also figures of people looking out at us from another world.

Born in Toyama Prefecture in 1952

1977: Graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts; Exhibited at the 51st Kokuten Exhibition (since then, has exhibited at every exhibition)

1979: Graduated from the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts, won the Kokuga Award at the 53rd Kokuten Exhibition, and exhibited at the 1st Tomoekai Exhibition (Takashimaya, Nihonbashi, Tokyo and Osaka, until 2005)

1981: Domestic Artist Trainee, Agency for Cultural Affairs

1988: Won the Ito Ren Memorial Award at the 5th Ito Ren Memorial Award Exhibition

1991: Overseas Artist Training Programme for the Agency for Cultural Affairs (Florence, Italy, until 1992)

1994 Solo exhibition at Galleria Il Ponte (Florence, Italy)

1995: Received the Toyama Prize (Toyama Prefecture Future Foundation)

1996 Solo exhibition "Hirofumi Adachi Exhibition" (Takashimaya, Nihonbashi, Tokyo, Osaka, 2003)

1997: Received the Special Award at the 40th Yasui Award Exhibition
