Triangle (1) 35 x 50cm Lithograph by Masasuke Osawa 10/35
In this lithograph work, a simple geometric shape, a triangle, dominates the surface with its strong shading. The background has fine horizontal lines that emphasize the triangular shape.
In this work, the shading of black gives a powerful impression, while the composition gives a sense of complexity within the simple form.
In works of art, simple forms can often stimulate deep emotions and thoughts, and this work is one example of this.
