Nostalgia 30P (90.9 x 65.2cm) Made by Matabei Goto

¥2,268,750

This work depicts an emotional moment in which an elderly man with a pipe in his mouth remembers his hometown.

His hometown is a snowy landscape, with the ground and roofs of the houses painted white with snow. On the other hand, the warm smoke rising from the chimney makes you feel the warmth of home.

The man has a calm expression on his face, thinking about his distant hometown.

It can be said that this is a beautiful work full of nostalgia and warmth.
